Bing Places for Business Arrives in Canada
Bing Places for Business has finally made its way north of the border. It’s taken some time, ok maybe a long time, but it has arrived. Bing Places enables Canadian businesses to add and manage their local listings to be included in Bing’s search results. The feature also lets business add photos, services offered, and specialities that will differentiate your business from your competition. In addition Canada, the announcement noted that Bing Places for Business is also now available in the United Kingdom.
Bing notes in their blog that Places for Business is the “first of many steps.. to engage local customers online…” in their search listings. Although we’ve had to wait awhile for this offering, one can only hope that this announcement will be quickly preceded with new advances and features to their local search listings.
